Jan’s first Cityscape, Manhattan Beach took 3 months to create. It illustrates many iconic businesses and favorite haunts that no longer exist. The limited edition print was an immediate hit and the 500 s/n edition sold out within 6 months of publication, launching Jan’s professional art career in 1981. The last Artist’s proof was sold to a delighted collector for $3000.
